Thursday, February 14th

Next week we have PE on Tuesday and Friday.

Dear Parents,

Happy Valentine's Day!

Thank you for coming to conferences! These meetings allow us to partner in your child’s growth and provide them with a maximum amount of support. Thank you for all your support.
I talked to many of you about the importance of practicing basic math facts consistently.  The MobyMax Math Facts folder is a great resource for practice. Time in the car also provides a good opportunity to orally practice and memorize facts.

As most of you know, third graders will be taking the CMAS tests this year.  This is a state standardized test. The tests have been scheduled for April 16th, 17th, and 18th.  If you are planning appointments or a trip, please plan outside of the CMAS testing dates if possible. It would be so helpful to have all the students complete the tests during our scheduled testing weeks. Thank you!

We are looking forward to our field trip on Thursday, February 28th to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.  Thank you to those of you who have returned your permission slip and fee. This is my current list of chaperones for the trip: Amber Gray, Dana Harris, Karen Hunter, Becky Jones, and Heidi Siguaw.  Erin Pilger will be meeting us at the zoo. We started Unit 6- Geometry.
